On 24.11.2020 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:

Planned purchase process

Investment vehicles managed or advised by HarbourVest Partners, LLC, United States, intend to invest in and indirectly acquire non-controlling stakes of (i) 39.9% of the shares in the Lagumar Group which is commonly referred to as Angulas Aguinaga, S.A.U., Spain, and (ii) up to 100% of the shares in Servicios Compartidos de Industrias Alimentarias, S.L.U, Spain.

The concentration concerns the production and supply of sea food, ready-to-eat 
meals and canned vegetables.

Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 22.12.2020.

Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.

Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
