On 20.11.2020 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:

Planned purchase process

Maverick Directorship, S.L., Madrid, Spain, a company controlled by PAI Partners S.à r.l., Luxembourg, intends to acquire directly/indirectly (i) the entire share capital of Lagumar Seas, S.L., Spain, (ii) a 90% stake in each Mariscos Linamar, S.L., Spain, Depuradora de Moluscos La Sirena, S.L., Spain, and Depuradora de Moluscos de Canarias, S.L., Spain, and (iii) the entire share capital of each Nakulas, S.L, Spain, Viveros Merimar, S.L., Spain, and Riunione Industrie Alimentari, S.R.L., Italy (all target companies together the 'Lagumar Group'). In essence, PAI Partners S.à r.l. will acquire indirect sole control over Lagumar Group.

Business Sectors Concerned: manufacture and commercialization of fish and seafood products (ÖNACE C 10.8)

Industry sector: C - Verarbeitendes Gewerbe/Herstellung von Waren

Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 18.12.2020.

Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.

Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
