On 15.09.2026 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:
Planned purchase process
SalzburgMilch GmbH intends to acquire all intellectual property rights owned by or attributable to Hama Foodservices GesmbH in connection with the “QimiQ” brand, products and business segment.
G - WHOLESALE AND RETAIL TRADE G 46 - Wholesale trade, G 46.3 - Wholesale of food, beverages and tobacco, G 46.33 - Wholesale of dairy products, eggs and edible oils and fats, G 47 - Retail trade, G 47.2 - Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco, G 47.27 - Retail sale of other food
Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 13.10.2026.
Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.
Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
