On 11.09.2026 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:
Planned purchase process
Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg GmbH, Privatbrauerei Zwettl Beteiligungs GmbH, Brauerei Hirt Holding Gesellschaft m.b.H., Mohrenbrauerei Vertriebs GmbH & Co KG and Brauerei Murau eGen intend to acquire shares in and joint control over Schankwerk GmbH and give up their respective businesses regarding beverage dispensing systems and their servicing in favor of Schankwerk GmbH. Following the proposed transaction, the shares in Schankwerk GmbH are to be held as follows: Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg GmbH will hold 20% and the other above-mentioned breweries will each hold 10% of the shares; Anton Kammerlander, Schankwerk GmbH's sole shareholder to date, will retain a 40% stake.

Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 09.10.2026.
Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.
Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
