On 12.12.2025 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:

Brightfolk A/S, Denmark, intends to acquire more than 25 % of the shares in Sports Group Denmark A/S, Denmark, and a group of shareholders (Familien Bruun Ivest ApS, Familien Bruun Selskaber ApS, Henrik Bruun Jensen Holding A/S, Klaus Midtgaard Holding ApS and Klaus Midtgaard) collectively referred to as Bruun/Midtgaard, Denmark, intend to increase their shareholding to more than 25 % of the shares in Sports Group Denmark A/S, Denmark.

Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 09.01.2026.
Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.
Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
