On 04.11.2025 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:
Planned purchase process
The fund BVK-Europa I-Immobilienfonds S.C.S., SICAV RAIF sub-fund BVK-EUROPA I, Immobilienfonds – Bavaria RE is represented by Universal-Investment-Luxembourg S.A., Luxembourg, acting as its Alternative Investment Fund Manager ("AIFM"). The ultimate investors in the fund are fourteen pension and retirement funds, each represented by Bayerische Versorgungskammer. The fund, represented by the AIFM, intends to acquire 50 % of the shares in and joint control over ICON Immobilien GmbH & Co KG, Austria, which is the owner of the properties with the address Wiedner Gürtel 9, 11 and 13 as well as Gertrude-Fröhlich-Sandner-Straße 2 and 4, all 1100 Vienna, and three mixed-use buildings from VALDERRAMA S.A., a subsidiary of Allianz SE.

Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 02.12.2025.
Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.
Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
Non-prohibition of the merger
The Federal Competition Authority and the Federal Cartel Prosecutor have not applied for examination of the merger by the Cartel Court. The standstill obligation (§ 17 (1) Cartel Act) ends with effect from 03.12.2025 .
