On 18.10.2024 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:

Planned purchase process

The notified concentration concerns the establishment of interlocking directorships within the meaning of section 7 paragraph 1 item 4 CartA between aVentures GmbH and subsidiaries and associated companies directly and indirectly held by aVentures GmbH, in particular ASAMER Kies und Betonwerke GmbH and its subsidiaries and associated companies, on the one hand, and the companies of the Asamer Baustoffe Group, in particular Asamer Baustoffe Holding GmbH, Asamer Baustoffe Holding GmbH & Co KG, ASAMER Baustoff Holding Wien GmbH, ASAMER Baustoff Holding Wien GmbH & Co.KG, Transportbeton Gesellschaft m.b.H., and Transportbeton Gesellschaft m.b.H. & Co. Komm. Ges., on the other hand, by the appointment of Mr Michael Asamer, MBA as managing director of said companies of the Asamer Baustoffe
Group.
Economic Sector: Manufacture of ready-mixed concrete.

Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 15.11.2024.

Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.

Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
