Zentrasport Österreich e.Gen.; ANWR sports GmbH

On 12.07.2024 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:

Planned purchase process

ANWR sports GmbH a newly established acquisition company in Austria by ANWR GROUP eG, based in Mainhausen, Germany, intends to purchase and take over the entire business operation, which consists in particular of economic and other services for retailers in the operation of their retail businesses (such as purchasing consulting/advice, marketing support, personnel recruitment, IT consulting, retailer support, representation of interests etc.) as well as the operation of the Rent-platform, the development of e-commerce solutions and a data clearing center, including the rights, legal relationships, economic goods, intangible assets and employees through an Asset Deal from Zentrasport Österreich e.Gen. 

Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 09.08.2024.

Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.

Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
