On 04.07.2025 the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was notified of the following merger:
Planned purchase process
The shareholders of DJ Digitale Medien GmbH (Digitale Medien) and Ultimate Media Beteiligungs- und Management GmbH (Ultimate), Mr. Wolfgang Jansky, Mr. Ing. Mag. Robert Knobl, Periodika Privatstiftung, and Alta GmbH, intend to contribute all shares of Digitale Medien and Ultimate to a holding company through a mixed cash and non-cash formation. Mr. Wolfgang Jansky will then hold 25.1% of the holding company, Mr. Ing. Mag. Robert Knobl will hold 1%, Periodika Privatstiftung will hold 36.98%, and Alta GmbH will hold 36.92%. Following the contributions, the holding company will be the 100% parent company of Digitale Medien and Ultimate.

Deadline for bringing in an application pursuant to § 11(1) Cartel Act will end on 01.08.2025.
Entrepreneurs whose legal or economic interests are affected by the merger can bring in a written statement at the Federal Competition Authority or the Federal Cartel Prosecutor within 14 days from publication date.
Note: The intervening party has no right to a certain treatment of the statement and will not gain a party position.
Withdrawal of the Merger Application: The Applicant withdrew the Merger Application on 25.07.2025.
