Coronavirus (COVID-19): operations from 18.5.2020

The current operations in the AFCA

  • Our switchboard is staffed again from 18.5.2020 in our office hours: Monday - Thursday 8 A.M. - 4 P.M., Friday 8 A.M. - 3 P.M.
  • Meetings are held predominantly electronically unless physical meetings are arranged by prior agreement with the AFCA.
  • Please send general enquiries to wettbewerb[at]bwb.gv.at
  • For health security reasons, special precautions apply. Corresponding information is available at the entrance of the AFCA. The authority can be only entered with a mouth/nose protection.

Merger Notifications

  • Merger notifications can be still submitted electronically through the ERV system (BWB No. Z008239) and during our office hours (Mon-Thurs 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-3pm).
  • Notifications submitted outside our office hours will be considered as having been submitted at the start of the following working day’s office hours.
  • Technical information (interface descriptions) about the ERV can be found here (in German).
  • The AFCA supports the direct exchange of documents among ERV participants (TLDZ).
  • If you have any further technical queries, please contact your service provider.
