The University of Vienna (Juridicum), coached by the law firm Reidlinger Schatzmann wins the 5th Cartel Law Moot Court. Best Speaker is Julia plöchl (Team WU Vienna 3), coached by the law firm CHSH.

The Cartel Law Moot Court, which took place on 28th May 2019, was organized again by the Austrian Federal Competition Authority together with the law firm DORDA and the European Law Students Association (ELSA). Numerous students applied to participate in the competition.

Infront of a fictitious Cartel Court the Students had to demonstrate their ability to present a profound legal and fact analysis and rhetoric. This year’s case concerned an alleged abuse of dominance in the sale of pharmaceutical products. It raised questions related to the market definition and pricing in a regulated market.
